Before we get started, make sure to wear your safety goggles and work gloves to cut the wood!
STEP 1: We’re going to cut a wood equilateral triangle – 40.5 cm on each side. Use your ruler to measure your triangle. Clamp down the wood and use your jigsaw to cut your triangle. Make sure it has a universal blade – this one is the best for wood, as opposed to metal.
STEP 2: Sand down the wood triangle with your sandpaper to clean off the edges. Place your drill upright next to the wood and use some tape to mark how thick the wood is on the drill. We’re going to drill a hole into the center of the triangle, but only halfway through. Add a screw to your wall, and this hole will hang on it.
STEP 3: Place your balsa wood on top of your triangle to create shelves – use your wood glue to secure them in place. Don’t use too much glue – only a little is needed.
STEP 4: Alternate with horizontal and vertical placement of the balsa wood so you can hang necklaces and bracelets.
