DIY Pink Tulle Shoe Upcycle! | Obsessed

Ready to channel your inner Carrie? With this easy (and optionally temporary) shoe update, you'll be skipping in tulle high heels in no time. Your shoe options just doubled in size. Yep, you're welcome.

There’s nothing like stepping out in a great pair of shoes to lift your mood (and elevate your style). Adding tulle bows is a super quick and easy way to give the shoes you already own a sassy update! This DIY tip from Miss Kris can up your fashion game in a pinch, especially when you’re pinchin’ those pennies.

Step 1: Start with a pair of shoes that have a strap over the toe like the ones shown in the video or some strappy sandals.

Step 2: Cut three to five pieces of “tulle on a spool” (aka tulle ribbon from the fabric store) about 8 inches long. You want the pieces to be a bit long so you can trim them in the end.

Step 3: Tie the tulle in a knot around the strap of your show and double knot to secure it.

Step 4: Gather the tulle together and trim it so your bow is perfectly even on both sides.

And there you have it! A whole new look for your night on the town. Or your night on the couch. We don’t judge. Plus it’s pretty cool that the bows are removable whenever you want to go back to wearing your shoes as they were before. And just like that, your shoe collection = doubled. Bravo.
