Girls’ Guide to Florals: DIY Rose Bud Bouquet

Of all the DIY floral arrangements we've done in this series, this might be our favorite little beauty! With delicate blush rosebuds and sage green eucalyptus fillers, this simple arrangement is beautiful and smells amazing. Follow along in this quick tutorial with us to learn a life-changing hack on how to use a rubber band to perfectly shape your floral arrangements.

For this arrangement, we used only blush roses in different sizes – both spray roses and medium size roses. Eucalyptus is the perfect basic filler when you are going for a tiny chic arrangement. Sometimes the simplest color scheme actually stands out the most! We used a small white translucent milk glass vase to complete the delicate minimalist look.

Step 1: Fill your vase with water.

Step 2: Select and cut your flowers so they will sit approximately 2 – 3 inches above the opening of the vase.

Step 3: Rubber band your flowers in bunches of 3 – 5 flowers of various sizes.

Step 4: When the vase mouth is full pull all the flowers out and wrap in eucalyptus leaves to cover the rubber bands.

Step 5: Carefully place the arrangement back into the vase – keeping your eucalyptus leaves in place.

Step 6: Gingerly insert eucalyptus cuttings into the arrangement for a little extra styling to complete your gorgeous small arrangement!

Now you’re a floral arranging pro! That wasn’t too hard, was it?
