Impress your guests at your holiday dinner party with our easy-to-follow DIY napkin folding. These three napkin folding designs are perfect for the season, but can work just as well for table settings year round.

But be warned! These napkin folding designs are so popular, you may find yourself hosting a tutorial along with your dinner!

Here are some step-by-step instructions to follow along with our video tutorial. Use square napkins for the best results.

The Rose

1. Start with your napkin flat on the table, in a diamond shape
2. Fold the napkin in half (bottom corner, to top corner)
3. Roll the bottom upwards, leaving ¼ of the napkin still visible
4.Turn the napkin over and roll one end all the way to the other end. Tuck the tip into itself to secure the roll.
5.Take the excess napkin left at the top and pull each side towards the bottom.
6. Turn it over and you have a rose!

Christmas Tree

1. Start with your napkin flat on a table, in a square shape
2. Fold it in half, bottom to top
3. Fold in half again, right to left
4. Fold each section of the napkin downward, leave 0.5 – 1 inch between each piece
5. Turn over and fold both upper corners downward and turn back over
6. Fold each section upward and tuck the bottom folds into the top folds

Cutlery Pocket

1. Start with your napkin flat on a table, in a square shape
2. Fold the napkin in half, left to right
3. Fold again, bottom to top
4. Fold the top corners down on a diagonal, folding each corner into the previous
5. Turn over and fold each side into the centre
6. Turn over again and place your cutlery into each fold
