Glitter Branch Decor | 12 DIYs of Christmas

Asset 2

On this DIY of Christmas, we're turning a plain ol' mantle into a glittery, glam winter wonderland. Sparkle like you mean it, girl! These glitter branches bring some serious sparkle and shine. Just like you! This project is an easy way to dress up any home for the holidays.

Glitter branches are simple to make, but fair warning: like Molly said, you might wanna do this project outside. Glitter has a funny way of sticking around the house, like, forever if you get carried away. But hey, accidents happen. In the event of excess glitter-ama, lint rollers and dust devils are your best friend. We speak from experience. Lots of it (glitter and experience). Ok let’s make this glitter branch, babes!

Step 1: Lay your branches out on a surface that’s either easy to clean, or you don’t care about messing up.

Step 2: Spray the branches generously with adhesive getting all the nooks and crannies.

Step 3: Shake your glitter of choice onto the branch while the adhesive is still wet, then top it with one more light coat of adhesive to make sure you get as much of the glitter to stick on the branch as possible.

Step 4: Once dry, arrange your beautiful branches along a mantle or shelf. Weave in some ribbon to pull the whole look together.
