Three Easy Overnight Oatmeal Recipes

When it comes to mornings, we like to make sure it can be made the easiest possible. For starters, we're hella busy, and if waking up early was easy, we'd be making a full breakfast that would feel like we were right at a diner. If you're always on the go like us and love to have your oats in the morning, here are three ways you can make some easy overnight oats that taste better than the quick morning bagel you have on your commute to work. Let's get started!

For overnight oats, there’s no rocket science that’s required to make these. All you need are some of your favorite ingredients to make some awesome oats, jars, and of course, oats. Minimal assembly required, to make your mornings 10x easier.

Simple Cinnamon Banana Overnight Oats

Step 1: To start, you will need to get your jar filled with one cup of oats. You can use mason jars, but we used these sealed KORKEN jars from Ikea that securely sealed our oats to make sure they don’t spill when we’re on the go.

Step 2: Slice one entire banana into thin wedges. Add it to the jar.

Step 3: Add one teaspoon of your favorite vanilla extract to the mix,

Step 4: Add one tablespoon of blue agave syrup to your oats. You can also add honey if you prefer!

Step 5: Add a dash of cinnamon for extra flavor. This will blend in so well with the vanilla and bananas, you won’t even know what hit your mouth.

Step 6: Time to add the final ingredient! Add one cup of milk of your choosing. For this recipe, we added one cup of almond milk.

Step 7: Give it a good shake to make sure all the ingredients inside mix well, and place into your refrigerator overnight.

Step 4: Add two tablespoons of chocolate chips (or if you’d like more, go crazy!).

Step 5: Add one tablespoon of honey to the mix.

Step 6: Top off the mix with a dash of cinnamon.

Step 7: Final ingredient! Add one cup of almond milk (or regular milk if you’d prefer), and shake well. Place into your refrigerator to soak overnight.

Berry Lovers Overnight Oats

Step 1: Add one cup of oats to your jar.

Step 2: Add three tablespoons of blueberries to your jar.

Step 3: Cut three strawberries into thin slices and add them to the jar.
