You tell them about your space, your budget, and your dream style, then they fit you with a plan that works for you. If you’re worried about liking what the designer comes up with, they even have a plan where you can choose to be presented with multiple plans from multiple designers and then choose the one you like best. It’s kinda like online dating…except WAY better.
3. Homepolish
Similar to Laurel & Wolf, Homepolish takes you through the interior design process step by step online, matching you with a designer after hearing about your needs and your project and setting you up for a free consultation. One big difference is you pay your designer by the hour instead of by project. You can do as much or as little as you want from choosing a color scheme to coming up with architectural plans. They even have an option for you to shop their curated online store to fit your newly decorated space!
Ever wish you could see what that expensive sofa you love (but has no return policy!) would look like in your living room before you buy it? Homestyler is an app that allows you to snap and upload a picture of your space, then “try on” design elements like paint colors, cabinetry, flooring options, etc. in that room. Genius.
