Copper Pipe Dog Bowl Holder | Pet Projects

Asset 2

if you're treating your furry friend to their daily treat, make sure that the way that they're eating their meal is a treat as well. If you're looking for a dog bowl holder that isn't a basic one that you can get at your local pet shop, then find out how you can make this copper pipe dog bowl holder with some glue, measuring tape, and copper piping to make this must-have.

STEP 1: To start off, you need to measure the inside diameter of your bowls. This will help guide how big you make your dog bowl holder. Noting how wide the inside diameter is (in this case 5 inches), your holder area should be 5 1/2 inches wide to hold the bowl.

STEP 2: Next, you will need to cut your copper piping into the necessary pieces that will assemble your dog bowl holder. Using your copper pipe cutter, you will need to cut:

  • Eight 5 1/2 inch pieces
  • Six 2 inch pieces
  • 4 legs – these can be 4 inches depending if you have a small dog, or taller if you have a bigger dog

STEP 3: Next, it’s time to assemble the part where the bowls will be. Using your T-brackets and the pipes that 5 1/2″ and 2″ pieces, begin assembling everything together like the diagram below:

STEP 5: Using super glue, begin attaching all the pieces together to make sure they’re secure. Let them dry for a few minutes.

STEP 6: Next, you will want to glue the elbow brackets onto your legs. Once you have glued those together, you can add super glue to the 4 2 inch pieces at the corners of the bowl holder to attach the legs.

STEP 7: Make sure that you attach your rubber stoppers, and you’re good to go!

And just like that, you have a brand new dog bowl holder for your pup to enjoy! If you liked this DIY and are going to create it for your furry friend, let us know! Tag us @BeMakeful using #PetProjects and let us know how yours turned out!
