Freehand Painted Glass + Peach Bellini Recipe

When I set up my brunch table, I look at all the details. That's why, when it came to choosing the glasses that I wanted to include for an upcoming brunch that I'm hosting, I wanted to make sure that even the glasses would pop on the brunch table rather than just have a regular shmegular old mimosa or peach bellini in a clear glass. With this quick and easy way to paint and style your glasses for your cocktails, your brunch will be something to talk about.

If you already know you’re going to tackle making this awesome minimal painted floral vase for your upcoming brunch, these painted glasses are the perfect pairing to complete your table. Not only that, if you know you’re going to be pouring rounds of mimosas, or in our case peach bellinis, here’s how you can upgrade your regular glasses to something that can’t be found anywhere else. Let’s get to it!

Freehand Painted Glasses

Step 1: Start off with a clean glass to start painting. We used a stemless wine glass that works perfect for mimosas, wine, and for our own peach bellini recipe. Using white semi-gloss spray paint, begin spraying the bottom of the glass and gradually move up midway to create a fade effect on the bottom of the glass. Wait for them to dry completely.

Step 2: Once the paint has dried, begin. adding dots and brush strokes to the bottom of the glass to create a freehand pattern. For the strokes, we used a a coral orange color and made sure that they had a quick brush effect to her. For the dots, we used an alcohol ink pen to create a variety of dots on the glass that would stay on the paint longer than a regular marker. Go around the entire glass with the pattern to finish the design. Once done painting, make sure to hand wash the top of the glass just as so you don’t have any paint touching your drink.

Peach Bellini Recipe

Step 1:  Begin by adding 1 1/2 cup of peach juice to your carafe. This entire recipe will yield 4 full wine glasses and about 6 champagne flutes.

Step 2: Add one full bottle of champagne or prosecco to the carafe.

Step 3: Finally, add one tablespoon of agave syrup to your recipe. If you do not have agave syrup, you could also replace this with simple syrup. Mix thoroughly.

Step 4: Garnish with a peach slice, pour and serve!

And just like that, your mimosas or peach Bellinis will be more than Instagram-worthy!
