Hilary Duff is Pregnant with a Baby Girl

Hilary Duff announced Saturday that she and boyfriend Matthew Koma are expecting a baby girl with an adorable Instagram post.

“Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!!” the star wrote, along with a string of girly emojis.

Koma, who is a singer, songwriter, record producer and professional bowler (yes, you read that right), shared the same photo on his Instagram account.

“We made a baby girl! She will be as beautiful and sweet as her mother… @hilaryduff another incredible chapter begins,” he captioned the sweet snap.

Duff’s second pregnancy comes six years after she gave birth to her first child, Luca Cruz, with ex-husband and NHL player Mike Comrie.

The 30-year-old actress told The Talk in December that she can “relate” to Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s on-again-off-again love affair. She and Koma had broken up the previous March, but rumours of a reconciliation were beginning to swirl by September.

“I think that you have history and a past with someone and love, and just because it doesn’t work out the first time, the second time, as long as there’s not too much damage done, then, it can always work out again,” she said on the show.

In the same appearance, Duff also said “it’s going so great” and “third time’s the charm” of her relationship with Koma.

Indeed, it seems the third time was the charm for the pair, who are beaming with pride in anticipation of their daughter. The news of Duff’s second pregnancy comes just days after her sister, Haylie Duff, gave birth to her second daughter, Lulu Gray.

“She arrived June 5th, and brought all her magic with her! Ryan is the happiest big sister & we are finally a family of 4! 💜Meet our littlest one… Lulu Gray Rosenberg!” Duff’s older sister captioned the adorable first snap of her newborn.

The younger Duff sister also shared a sweet snap with her new niece, writing that she was “getting practice” as a mom with the newborn.

Duff and Koma first met in 2015 when they collaborated on her fifth studio album, Breathe In. Breathe Out. According to Romper, he produced the album’s title track, and the pair “hit it off” while working together.

It sounds like the former Lizzie McGuire star has found true love once again—now this is what dreams are made of.
