Kaley Cuoco Got Married Last Weekend and Her Wedding Looked Magical

Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory married professional equestrian, Karl Cook, at a horse stable near San Diego on June 30, and from what we’ve seen, the wedding was pretty special. From her stunning gown that took 400 hours to make to her $46 drugstore , here are all the deets from her big day:

There’s no doubt Cuoco’s epic wedding gown and cape, custom designed by Reem Acra, stole the show at her wedding. E! News reports that the gown took 400 hours, 50 yards of pure silk chiffon, and a team of 10 seamstresses to make. The dress and cape were finished with handmade floral appliqués and embroidered tulle details, and Cuoco accessorized with Jennifer Behr hairpieces.

In a statement, the designer told E! News:

“It was a joy to create this custom gown for Kaley. She looked wonderful and I wish her and Karl a lifetime of happiness.”

The bride’s husband gushed over the gown, writing “I mean god damn that dress was amazing” in an Instagram post from the day.

Later on for the reception, Cuoco changed into a stylish romper by Tadashi Shoji (because every bride should be able to dance the night away comfortably!).

“Ok let’s party!!!” Cuoco captioned a photo of her in the elegant lace number.

And party, they did. Featuring a rare two-storey tent flown in from Germany, a fire breather, a 100-foot canopy of light, and the most epic burgers known to man (they even had KC² burned into the buns!), the wedding wasn’t lacking in thoughtful details.

Lauren Tatum of Lauren Tatum Events designed the wedding, and according to E! News, the day went off without a hitch:

“It was spectacular. I think everyone was happy. I think the family, Kaley and Karl are happy,” Tatum said. “I had one [guest] say it was the best night of their life.”

Cuoco and Cook also made sure to weave plenty of horse-themed details into their big day. From a giant floral altar in the shape of a horseshoe to a dreamy aisle lined with horses of all kinds, the event was truly an animal lover’s dream.

The couple even asked guests to forgo wedding gifts in favour of donations to animal rescue shelter, Paw Works.

The next day, the newlyweds ended their magical weekend extravaganza by wearing the cutest matching denim jackets printed with the words “together forever” and “KC Squared, est. 2018.”

Congrats to the newlyweds!
