Ronnie Magro-Ortiz has moved on from his volatile relationship with Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola, but it seems the drama follows him everywhere. The Jersey Shore star has been publicly feuding with his girlfriend and the mother of his one-month-old baby, Jen Harley, and it hasn’t been pretty—or remotely civil.
The feud began last weekend, when Ronnie posted an Instagram story with a cringe-worthy statement about his girlfriend:
“Note to self, can’t turn a natural born HOE, into a HOUSEWIFE, if you find them in the gutter then leave them in the gutter, not all people can be saved when they are so far gone. All you can say you did ur [sic] best and keep it moving!”
He also added hashtags #FACTS and #YEAHHHHBUDDYYYY” for good measure.
Jen responded with a story of her own, writing “can’t turn a cokehead into a father.” Yikes!
Ronnie deleted the story and apologized not long afterwards, writing:
“I want to apologize for earlier to my fans and especially to @tater_tot_kitty I acted out of my gut and not rationally. I should’ve never acted in such a manor [sic]. My deepest apologizes [sic].”
But wait, there’s more!
Ronnie then posted an Instagram poll, asking his fans,
“If your significant other keeps sex videos of their ex, shouldn’t they show enough respect to delete them, esp after being in a new relationship for over a year #GiveMeYourThoughts.”‘
Most recently, Ronnie and Jen fought in person over Instagram Live, and things escalated quickly for just a 45-second video. Ronnie was attempting to show viewers a photo on his phone of Jen in an apparently compromised position, and by the end of the video, things had turned physical.
Jen gave birth to their daughter, Ariana Sky, on April 3 of this year. She also has an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, and she appeared on the first episode of Jersey Shorey: Family Vacation, the show’s reboot after the wildly successful first series ended in 2012.
So far on the new Jersey Shore, Ronnie has already confessed his undying love for his ex, Sammi, to Snookie.
“Every man wishes that he can be with the love of his life. You’ve been with someone for seven years and then you don’t end up with that person? Yeah it hurts,” he said.
Snookie responded by telling him to “get over Sam, it’s been 10 years.”
According to E! News, Ronnie and Jen have broken up for now, but it wouldn’t come as a shock if they reunited—if only for the sake of their newborn daughter.
